Building a More Confident Future, Together

Our Vision

We want to bring more accurate sensing to wearables for regular people, so they can have better data about their own bodies.

For more than 15 years, most wearables have been limited to heart rate and motion. Those signals have value, but they only tell part of the story. We believe the next generation of wearables should give people deeper insight into what their bodies are actually doing.

That is why we are building Confident Pose: to make more meaningful body data accessible, understandable, and useful for everyday consumers, not just researchers or elite athletes.

Confident Pose journey

Why We Are Building This

We are building Confident Pose because there is so much valuable information about the body that still is not being measured well in consumer wearables.

Too much of the category has been confined to the wrist, even though many of the most useful signals live elsewhere in the body. We believe people should be able to measure what is happening where it matters, with sensors designed to go beyond a single location or a single use case.

What We Are Building

We are building an EMG platform that turns real muscle signals into personalized guidance.

Our sensor is designed to be placed anywhere on the body, because valuable data should not be limited to the wrist. That flexibility lets us measure what is happening closer to the muscles and movement patterns that matter for each application.

We believe this opens the door to a new generation of wearables that are more accurate, more useful, and far more empowering for regular consumers.

The Founding Team

Indira Negi, Founder and CEO

Founder & CEO

Indira Negi

Indira founded Confident Pose with a rare vantage point shaped by shipping both medical devices and consumer wearables. Her background across the Gates Foundation, Intel, and AliveCor gives her a distinctive blend of clinical rigor, sensing expertise, and consumer product execution.

She has a history of building first-of-its-kind devices: setting up the medical device investment team at the Gates Foundation, serving as VP of Product at AliveCor, defining the first handheld pocket-sized 12-lead ECG at Intel, and inventing and shipping the first in-ear heart rate headphones. That track record of pioneering new device categories is central to the vision behind Confident Pose.

Founding Engineer • Mechanical & Manufacturing

WeiJun Wang

WeiJun leads mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and plastics manufacturing at Confident Pose, shaping the product form factor and the path from prototype to reliable production.

He brings more than 20 years of experience across both contract manufacturers and startups, with background spanning Tact Product Development, Mixer Design Group, Logitech, Medi Electronics in Taiwan, Haozhu Company in Taiwan, and SHL Technologies in Taiwan. That depth of hands-on product development experience is central to making Confident Pose manufacturable, durable, and ready to scale.

Founding Engineer • Software

Avi Mehta

Avi leads software engineering for Confident Pose, building the systems that turn sensing data into calibration, feedback, and a user experience that can guide better habits.

He brings more than 15 years of experience across Qualcomm, Microsoft, Google, and YouTube, giving Confident Pose deep expertise in consumer software, platform engineering, and large-scale product systems as we build the software layer of the EMG platform.

Founding Engineer • Firmware

Mike Rosen

Mike leads firmware, building the embedded layer that makes sensing dependable, responsive, and ready for products people can trust throughout the day.

He brings more than a decade of firmware and embedded systems experience across ChargePoint, Intel, and Carnegie Mellon, helping bridge hardware and software across the Confident Pose platform with the reliability and performance needed for real-world use.
